Parekraf Agency Holds Online Mastering Food Photography Training

Jakarta Tourism and Economic Creative (Parekraf) Agency held an online training themed Mastering Food Photography attended by 110 participants who were coached MSMEs or Jakpreneurs.

A good and quality product is indeed the main prerequisite for doing business

Jakarta Parekraf Agency Head Gumilar Ekalaya said the agency already had 2,938 Jakpreneurs. As for the 70 percent of them were culinary entrepreneurs.

This training that presented a culinary photographer as a resource person, Togi Panjaitan was aimed of sharing the knowledge of culinary product photography. Thus they could conduct it independently by maximizing the property and equipment owned.

Culinary Jakpreneurs Facilitated to Develop Healthy Food Products

He explained there were more competitors in the same field lately, making it difficult to conduct marketing. But it could be broken if they were able to highlight the superior quality of their respective products. Moreover, a good and quality product would be easily accepted by the market.

"A good and quality product is indeed the main prerequisite for doing business. But the important thing is in the marketing aspect, namely having product photos that can attract consumer attention," he told, Friday (11/13).

He assessed product photos that could attract attention were aesthetic and Instagramable, yet also able to convey the message of the uniqueness of the product to the specified target market.

"The more attractive the visuals of a product or food, the more people will be tempted to buy the food product," he stressed.
